After more than a decade in practice, Dr. Brinkmann relocated to South Florida, where he has played a key role in building and shaping the Animal Clinic of West Lake Worth. After attaining an undergraduate degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University, Dr. Johnston headed up to the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada for veterinary college. Following graduation, she moved to South Florida, where she’s been enjoying the tropical climate ever since. For over three decades, Dr. Johnston practiced as a relief veterinarian in veterinary hospitals across Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade counties before she joined the Animal Clinic of West Lake Worth family.

She has three rescued dogs that frequently come along with her to the clinic.
