Dr. Theodore Brinkmann
Veterinarian
Dr. Theodore “Ted” Brinkmann grew up on a horse and dairy farm in Long Island, New York, where his early experiences shaped his passion for animal care. He attended Cornell University for both his undergraduate studies and veterinary degree before beginning his career practicing small animal medicine on Long Island.
After more than a decade in practice, Dr. Brinkmann relocated to South Florida, where he has played a key role in building and shaping the Animal Clinic of West Lake Worth. He is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment supported by a close-knit, capable, and caring team, many of whom have been part of the hospital for years. Dr. Brinkmann is passionate about veterinary medicine and truly enjoys coming to work each day to care for his patients and their families.

Dr. Stephanie Johnston
Veterinarian
Dr. Stephanie Johnston’s father retired the family to a hobby farm in North Carolina after three decades of service in the United States Air Force, and it came as no surprise to her family when she announced she intended to become a veterinarian.
After attaining an undergraduate degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University, Dr. Johnston headed up to the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada for veterinary college. Following graduation, she moved to South Florida, where she’s been enjoying the tropical climate ever since. For over three decades, Dr. Johnston practiced as a relief veterinarian in veterinary hospitals across Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade counties before she joined the Animal Clinic of West Lake Worth family.
She has three rescued dogs that frequently come along with her to the clinic.

Dr. Danielle Paul
Veterinarian
Dr. Danielle Paul is a 3rd generation Floridian, born and raised in South Florida. Growing up, she always loved animals which led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Paul began working as a veterinary receptionist and quickly advanced to the role of veterinary technician. Driven by her passion for veterinary medicine, Dr. Paul returned to FAU to earn a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences. She was accepted into the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where she began her studies amidst the challenges of the pandemic and graduated with honors.
Dr. Paul shares her home with one dog, two cats, and a diverse collection of reptiles. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and tending to her exotic houseplant collection.
