At Animal Clinic of West Lake Worth, caring for pets is our passion
Here, we treat pets like family. We understand how important your companion is to you — because they’re there for you through the thick and thin of life, with a wagging tail or a happy purr, and unconditional love.
Our goal is to be your partner in taking care of your pet’s physical and mental wellbeing, so you can enjoy many happy years together.
So, whether your pet needs a checkup with a doctor… a caring team and top-notch medical treatments when they’re ill… or, some advice on the best food for them or how to care for them at home — we’re here for you!
Here, we see dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small mammals, and more. And, we’ll strive to make their visit a comfortable and positive experience.
Come in and get to know us, and see why both you and your pet will love coming here!

Happy Pet Parents
Dr. Johnston is the best vet I have ever known. She really listens to you and trusts that you know your pet better than anyone else. She helped diagnose my dog with Cushing's after two years of constant tests with no diagnosis and helped me figure out other issues too. The staff is also amazing, I always feel like they treat my dog like he is their own when I have to leave him there all day.
Super sweet and professional staff. Dr. Johnston was so wonderful and informative. Highly recommend coming here.
Dr. Brinkmann and Dr. Johnston have been lovingly treating our four-legged family members for the past 22 years. They are caring and laser-focused on the health and well-being of our pets. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our furry family members.
I've been taking my standard poodle, Ebony, to see Dr. Brinkmann her whole life, ~10 yrs. I have nothing but the best to say about Dr. Brinkmann and the entire office. Whenever we go to the office, Ebony literally drags me to the door and just loves her experience there - she can't wait to go inside. Dr. Brinkmann's experience is priceless. He's very knowledgeable, down-to-earth and takes the time to talk with you and discuss things. It doesn't seem to me that they would ever steer you wrong with your pet.
